Tag & Trace Casualty Tracking

Tag & Trace system Horizon 2020 projects

We are able to provide a stand alone or integrated system of tracking patient triage status. Mass casualty incidents are stressful and complicated scenarios that require massive amounts of information to be gathered, interpreted and shared. Having a system to physically track the casualties and input their triage status to the larger incident management system allows command to make informed big picture decisions and field first responders to more efficiently make life saving actions.

Using RFID tag technology users can easily add casualties and their triage status to the system. There are simple ruggedized arm devices made to be worn on top of heavy PPE allowing the first responder to quickly attend to a casualty. First responders dawning less PPE can use a smartphone or tablet solutions inputting more detailed triage data. Each casualty has their incident records tracked seamlessly from first contact with first responders all the way to delivery to the hospital. Command is able to track the path flows of casualties identifying bottlenecks and adjusting the system accordingly. This ensures casualties spend the least time possible at the incident scene.

This technology is proven effective by Horizon 2020 projects like Toxi-triage and RESPOND-A.

Tag & Trace Commander Dashboard

The Tag & Trace dashboard allows for flexible customisation for any mass casualty scenario. The dashboard displays the casualty data in real time but also allows the commander to design the casualty pathways and the first responders assigned to each zone.

Tag & Trace Casualty System

The Tag & Trace system uses a mobile application for medical first responders and the casualty tags which are slap wrap NFC tags. The tags are placed onto the body of the casualty for data synchronisation and identification in the Tag & Trace system.
